The admissions process examines both the academic and personal qualifications of all applicants. The ÈÎÄã²Ù¸£Àû aims to ensure that students accepted into its programs have the ability to benefit from and contribute to the integrated educational experience at the ÈÎÄã²Ù¸£Àû. Admissions decisions are also based on the congruence of the applicant’s educational interests with the philosophy and purpose of the program to which he or she is applying. The ÈÎÄã²Ù¸£Àû values a diverse academic community and is committed by purpose and obligated by law to serve all people on an equal and nondiscriminatory basis.
Admission Requirements
To enroll in an undergraduate degree or certificate program an application must be submitted to be considered for admission. All admission materials must be submitted directly to the admissions office by the application deadline (if applicable). An application to USU includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Complete and submit an application for admission
- Interview with an Enrollment Advisor
- Submit documentation of high school graduation or equivalent as defined under the U.S. Department of Education regulation*
- Foreign high school diplomas or their equivalent must be evaluated and translated, if applicable, by an acceptable agency
- A member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES)
- A member of the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. (AICE)
- Homeschooled students may apply for admission. The student should provide proof that he or she has completed their State’s requirements for high school graduation. The home school students’ parent(s) and/or guardian(s) are responsible for compliance with all State requirements.
- Foreign high school diplomas or their equivalent must be evaluated and translated, if applicable, by an acceptable agency
- Undergraduate applicants must submit their official transcripts from previously attended institutions. Foreign transcripts must be evaluated and translated, if applicable, by an acceptable evaluating agency*:
- A member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES)
- A member of the Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. (AICE)
- Meet any program-specific entrance requirements. See or contact an enrollment advisor.
- Complete an Enrollment Agreement.
* Transcripts must come directly from the issuing institution: Please have transcripts addressed to the following address:
